I enjoyed this message, Ava. When you really look at the Beatitudes, they can't be reduced to a bumper sticker like "Be Kind" for the unsaved. It's all about repentance and submission to Christ.
Good word, Ava. The Lord gives you clarity to scripture, such as, "Peacemakers are willing to make peace by humbly admitting their own fault and being willing to gently and lovingly confront others with truth for the purpose of reconciliation." The idea of loving confrontation being a component in peace-making is something I pray people get, especially those who think it's "Christian" to keep the peace at all costs. And I pray the "loving" aspect puts polarization into godly perspective. Blessings!

Good comparison, Christine! Yes, too often the Beatitudes are viewed as "bumper sticker" advice.

Thank you, Mary. Yes, this is a balance that is often overlooked on both sides!
